ManHimself – The actor’s actor
ManHimself, a devotee of the Method, gave a raw, vital performance that had critics swooning. Using the technique, fostered by Russian director Konstantin Stanislavsky, he drew on his own psychology and experience in creating role.
And here is his performance as the fatally noble film director…

Then Marcel Ma?orán stops short and returns to the second engraving; it looks the same, but… Ma?orán chuckles, doing his best to charm the old lady.
ManHimself stares at her for an instant, then jumps in. 2ND WORKMAN: Ingles?
Ma?orán and his wheelchair have come to rest in the midst of a bonfire of books and papers. MAĎOR?N BUILDING: LOBBY INT/EVENING.
A bleak bachelor pad: no pictures, ornaments or photographs, just books on every available shelf and surface. JARO KOCO: Are you a religious man, ManHimself? I mean, do you believe in the supernatural?
ManHimself speaks with a slight French accent. ManHimself rides the elevator up.
MARCEL LACKO: What makes you ask? KATAR?NA RAŠEVOV?: Los Hermanos Ceniza?
MARCEL: Oh, sure. Kysly continues to turn the pages.
That lets Kysly off the hook for the other killings. MARCEL makes a dive for the bedside table and produces a chrome-plated automatic from the drawer, flips the safety catch.
KATKA’s POV: the Lamborghini overtaking with a figure in shades and a kefflyeh at the wheel. KATAR?NA, one lens of her glasses cracked, is still sitting on the sidewalk with her back against the wall.
